Deborah W Meyers is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Migration Policy Institute. Her recent work has focused on US
immigration policy and structure and US-Canada-Mexico migration and border issues. She served as principal investigator for a
project assessing the implementation and impact of post 9/ 11 border-related changes, including the integration of inspectors at
the border, changes in visa procedures, and implementation of an entry-exit tracking system. Ms Meyers holds an MA in
International Affairs from The George Washington University, a BA in History and has over thirty publications to her credit.
